Installation and Use
You can’t always use a stroller. Whether it’s a quick errand, a flight of stairs, or the stroller is buried in the trunk. Snug Lug is a padded car seat carrying strap that makes those times a whole lot easier. It wraps around your arm and secures to the car seat handle, so you can carry your seat without killing your arm and back!
We do not sell any replacement parts, but we are happy to provide any at no charge to you. Just let us know what you need and we will make it right!
No, it won't damage your car seat. The strap is secured to the handle with a clamp. A rubber sleeve is included in the kit that slides onto the clamp. This provides a solid grip and a layer of protection to your handle to eliminate damage. An adhesive velcro strip is also included in your kit. This sticks to your handle and is used to secure the wrap to the handle for storage. It can be removed or replaced easily without leaving any marks.
While we have tested the Snug Lug with nearly every car seat available, it is possible that it won't work with your seat. Every car seat is built differently and new models are available all the time. If you don't have a place to grab onto your seat (as pictured below) the Snug Lug may not work for you. We recommend adjusting the strap length and/or trying all our different carrying positions to see if that helps.
Many parents struggle to carry their babies in the car seat. They have a handle attached but carrying it that way just causes the seat to be swung and kicked by your legs when you walk. You are forced to hold the seat away from your body causing strain on your back and hips. You can carry it with both hands but that limits what you can do. You could hold the handle in your elbow but that causes a lot of pain and pressure on your forearm. The other option is to wrap your arm around the handle and grab onto the outside of the seat. This also puts a lot of pressure on the forearm and tweaks your wrist. None of these options are very good. So we created the Snug Lug to give you the most ergonomic and comfortable carry possible!

Safety and Materials
The included clamp will fit handles up to 1.25" in diameter. It should fit most car seat handles. If you are having trouble connecting the clamp we recommend bending the clamp into a tight circle before installing. Then you can squeeze the clamp together with one hand while tightening the screw with the other. If the clamp still doesn't fit please reach out to us here and we will send you a larger size.
Be sure the adhesive velcro around the handle lines up with the velcro sewn to the back of the arm wrap. Sometimes more than one person uses the Snug Lug and the strap length is adjusted. Another option is to install the adhesive velcro vertically along the handle instead of horizontally. This allows the wrap to secure to the handle at any length.
Once installed, the clamp should be tightly secured to the handle. Be sure the clamp screw is tightened fully. If the clamp is still moving you can try moving it slightly on the handle to find a better placement.
